When to bring down a fever
Doctor’s advice:

If you have a fever of 37°C on the first day, there is no need to bring the fever down and see a doctor. You should drink plenty of fluids, ventilate the room, avoid hypothermia, rinse your nose with saline solutions and gargle your throat with antiseptics if you suspect an acute respiratory infection.

Temperatures above 39°C must be brought down, otherwise there is a risk of harming the body. You can use antipyretics in the correct dosage.

If there are no symptoms and the temperature is between 37-38.5°C, it is not necessary to bring it down. If there are severe chills, headache, pain in the bones, muscles and joints, weakness, it is better to take an antipyretic. Or put wet towels of room temperature on the head and the main vessels (elbow and knee bends). But remember: nothing should be placed on the groin, neck and armpits.

Also, if the temperature of more than 39°C is not brought down by antipyretic alone, you can take antispasmodics and anti-allergic drugs of the first generation, it will enhance the effect of antipyretic. Important: make sure you consult your GP beforehand to find out if you can use these drugs.
